1. Where is Ho Tram?

Ho Tram is a small beach town located in Vietnam's Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province, in Xuyen Moc District. This is a natural coastline, located between Binh Chau commune and Long Hai town.

  • 42 km from Vung Tau city along coastal roads
  • 117 km from Ho Chi Minh City along National Route 51
  • 100 km from Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province

Over the past 10 years, many domestic and foreign investment groups and funds have focused on developing the Ho Tram sea area. Ho Tram tourist area is well developed in infrastructure, planning policies and distribution, making it an attractive location in tourists’ eyes.

1.1. Routes to Ho Tram

Here are some main routes to Ho Tram beach:
From HCMC, you can go to Ho Tram by car or motorbike, within roughly 2 hours of traveling. 

  • By motorbike: You can follow the directions on Google Map. Because traveling by motorbike, you will not ride to Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway but will go by Cat Lai ferry to pass Dong Nai territory.

  • From the city center, move towards Saigon Bridge; cross the Saigon Bridge, go to Cat Lai ferry direction; then, go through the rubber forest and continue straight on National road 51; go ahead until you see AH17 road, Phu My and turn left to go on Phu My - Toc Tien street; go ahead then turn right onto Hac Dich - Toc Tien, Toc Tien, Chau Pha street; then turn left onto Road No. 1; then continue straight and turn right onto DT328 road; go straight until you see Xuyen Moc - Phuoc Thuan T-junction then turn left. Pass the last section of the sandbar to Ho Tram
  • By Car: Replace the section of Cat Lai ferry with Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway and continue to move as the motorbike routes.

1.2. Ho Tram’s unspoiled beauty

Though being exploited and put into tourism operation for nearly 10 years, Ho Tram still retains its wild natural beauty that captivates visitors. Combined with high-end resorts, Ho Tram becomes a weekend destination for many tourists in Saigon, Bien Hoa and neighboring areas. Moreover, convenient access is a huge advantage of Ho Tram, compared to other seaside tourist attractions such as Nha Trang, Binh Dinh and Phu Quoc It only takes about 2 hours to travel from the center of Ho Chi Minh City, visitors can go back during the day, or spend more time.
What’s more, visitors can explore the nature reserve Binh Chau - Phuoc Buu and Binh Chau hot spring, with only a few minutes of travel from Ho Tram.

2. Ho Tram Strip – a dream coastal destination

Ho Tram Strip ís one of the largest resort complex construction projects in Vietnam, accompanied by well-known projects such as the Ho Tram Casino and The Bluffs Golf Course.

What is the Ho Tram Strip project?

Ho Tram Strip is a group of integrated resorts, spanning more than 161 hectares of land along two kilometers of pristine beach in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. With a coastline of more than 2km long, the project is invested more than 4.2 billion USD, developed by Ho Tram Project Company Limited, a subsidiary of the renowned Asian Coast Development (ACDL), which is a company founded on the partnership between the world’s largest investment funds Warburg Pincus and VinaCapital.

According to the plan, once completed, Ho Tram Strip will include 4 main items:

  • The Grand Ho Tram Strip: a  resort complex consisting of a 541-room five-star hotel, a casino, a world-class entertainment facility, restaurants, a high-tech meeting space, an exclusive VIP area, a championship golf course, and a variety of beach-front recreation activities.  If the plan go smoothly, the name "The Grand Ho Tram Strip" will be changed to "InterContinental Grand Ho Tram" in the second quarter of 2021, with 2 main hotel towers: 
    • The Grand Ho Tram Strip (InterContinental Grand Ho Tram)
    • Holiday Inn Resort (expected to operate in 6/2021)

  • Golf course The Bluffs: The Bluffs is designed by the legendary golfer Greg Norman, ranked 35th among the world's 100 greatest golf courses.

  • The second integrated resort is operated by Pinnacle Entertainment Group
  • Three other integrated five-star resorts. One of them, Ixora Ho Tram by Fusion, is getting more and more attention from investors. The project is in the deposit process and planned to open for sale on 4/2021.
